Artorius announce trio of hires to support growth in new markets – 11th September 2019

Further to a number of hires already in 2019, which includes Senior Client Partners Steve Brandreth (formerly of Coutts), Peter Cork (formerly of Kleinwort Hambros) and Phil Carroll to head up alternative investments (formerly of Shore Capital), Artorius are delighted to announce the arrival of three further key hires - strengthening their teams in Yorkshire and London.

Danielle Hurst joins Artorius as a Senior Client Partner based in Yorkshire where she will expand the Artorius footprint in the region.

Danielle said, “I believe we are seeing a shift in client expectations; moving away from traditional private banks to a relationship driven more by our client’s needs and requirements and less by the restrictions of large corporations - this was key in my decision to join Artorius’ Yorkshire operation where the client is the sole priority”.

Danielle is a Chartered Fellow for the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments as well as an accredited mortgage advisor, specialising in providing bespoke mortgage and lending solutions to high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Artorius, Danielle worked at Kleinwort Hambros Bank, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.

Christopher Winn joins Artorius as a Senior Client Partner in London having built the investment platform for his own family office. Chris will be focused on serving US resident non domiciled clients and bringing US-based alternative investment opportunities to Artorius.

On arrival at Artorius Chris said “I came to Artorius to help fellow American expats solve the myriad of challenges I have navigated personally in emigration, wealth planning, portfolio construction & management, intergenerational wealth transfer and philanthropy.”

Clare Wakeling joins the London team as a Client Manager providing support to Peter Cork who joined Artorius in July 2019 and specialises in serving professionals in the media sector. Clare has over 30 years’ experience in the Private Banking industry and thrives on delivering exceptional client service. Claire joins Artorius from Kleinwort Hambros having previously worked at Coutts and St James’s Place. Mike Toole, Chief Operating Officer, said, “we have been thrilled by the quality additions to the team we have made so far this year. This is part of our ongoing program, fully supported by our shareholders, to maintain the pace of investment in selective key hires and our operating platform. We are well positioned to continue to invest in selective areas of the business which will enhance our high-quality client orientated proposition”.
